This Helenbobelen’s art is inspired by the Creator, and yes, it’s both visual art crossing over with “audial” art (– sometimes I do paint by the noises I hear out in the street…kinda hard to explain).
I do think my strongest artistic ability is my ability to sing and play music. So much in fact that when people here in Austin see me musically perform, they’re surprised to find that I’m also a visual artist/designer/writer…and athlete. (So yes, this combination can only be inspired by something much greater than this human body/brain.)
The true caretaker in me is the one that sings, that feels calm, and that calms others who listen judgement-free…
Also, it’s a wonderful dream to have a small art space where I can lovingly display and be surrounded by my 7+ years hummingbird art efforts…not to mention sing/play a tune or two…
Thank you to kind/talented podcaster Youngman Brown who appeared just at the right time in my life to prod me along and broadcast the kind side of what human artists do with the great help of some Universal magic. Thank you to Clayton for offering me the Portland, OR exhibit/First Thursday. Thank you to Stephanie here in Austin for her wonderful ability to co-lead with vulnerability, true goodness and power.
P.S. Vocalists that I’ve studied with: NYC jazz-singer Michelle Carr, Broadway Performer/Meditator Teri Merliss, Opera-singer Maria Todaro, and NYC Cari Cole Voice Studios…thank you…thank you…thank you…
